Who is it for?
The briefing targets company directors, project management, health professionals, and industry directors working in energy transition to enable them to be more aware and therefore better integrate health considerations into business planning and project management. This will allow them to appropriately manage business risks in the evolving context, in terms of technologies but also of legislation, of the energy transition.
Why is it important?
Health and well-being are prerequisites as well as goals of sustainable development. They are therefore central dimensions of any relevant policy and technological development. The health and wellbeing of communities, workforces, and consumers are key features of an energy transition which will need to protect and respect human rights if it is to be just and fair.
