On the afternoon of Monday 7th April (the day before the Interspill conference) Ipieca and OSRL are delivering a short course designed for those relatively new to the concept of NEBA wanting a better understanding of the NEBA approach and principles. This interactive session will be structured around the Ipieca good practice guide on NEBA.

Topics covered:

  • Overview of response strategy development using NEBA: the four stages
  • How NEBA is applied in contingency planning and incident response
  • Introduction to methodologies for NEBA implementation, including Spill Impact Mitigation Assessment (SIMA)
  • Importance of stakeholder engagement

If you would like to join this course, please select it when you register for the Interspill conference.
